We spent a wonderfully restfull week mid September 2013 ,the house has everything you need ,the garden overlooks a little valley and in the field nearby, inquisitive cows regularly do the rounds. The house is at the end of the lane and as you continue where no cars would go (at least not the rented ones!) you are in a forested lane leading to a little river. There are lots of walks to enjoy , though the house is in a hamlet, nearby villages have all you need for food ,fantastic bread ,good butchers.
The owners are very kind and helpful and have made sure you will want for nothing.
WIthin an hour radius the area offers plenty to enjoy from historic venues to adventures on rivers or lakes .We whole heartedly recommend it .
